Studio Giggle worked alongside Brandfuel to create the content for Saudi Aramco’s brand experience at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
We worked closely with the team and Brandfuel to plan out the creative narrative of the experience. The schedule was extremely tight having been contacted a few days before Christmas with the experience installed and ready for the client in the last week of January. In such a short time frame the level of trust is very important as there is very little time for feedback to be turned around. So from brief to delivery, it was just 4 weeks with a little break for Christmas.
Studio Giggle was tasked with 3 aspects of the experience:
A virtual elevator that would descend from space, towards the sea, and plunge down through the rock to the oil.
A beautiful ‘pepper’s ghost’ hologram effect that explained a very technical part of the drilling process.
A final immersive underwater, animated world, that guests would walk through to exit the experience back into the reception area.
Working in such an extraordinary environment such as Davos during the World Economic Forum was a real honour for the team at Giggle. It was awe-inspiring to see the level of professionalism of our colleagues building such an intricate set up in just a few hours.
We can’t wait to do it all again.
