Ecophon, makers of acoustic products for working environments, wanted content for their social media that would translate the physical experience of a noisy environment, as a set of films.

The brief was perfect for Studio Giggle, it should be light hearted and fun.

Studio Giggle have worked with Ecophon’s Marketing Manager Will Jones for a while. It started with case studies in 2016, and installation guide animations in 2018, but this was a first foray into a commercial concept.

The first brief was to mock up an office and a restaurant in a studio; two locations that are synonymous with being noisy and difficult to hear people. The scripts needed to be tight, the sets convincing, and the problem/ solution/ resolution narrative, crystal clear. You can see the film for the office environment here:

The second brief was to take a ‘mockumentary’ approach to a fake case study, featuring the made up ‘Orange Bucket Company’. The film is here:

Ecophon used Studio Giggle to create the films from concept through to delivery, handling the scripting, direction, filming, sound, casting, props and locations. The process was fun and smooth, particularly in the case of the Orange Bucket Company, where, as Steve Garratt explains, the ideal location was the Giggle office in Bristol:

As well as the 3 films, Ecophon ended up with plenty of stills from the videos and behind the scenes, to use as social media collateral. The content was launched co-currently on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram, with the aim of reaching a wider audience than had been targeted previously, as Ecophon explain here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-do-we-reach-out-further-will-jones/
Thanks to the team at Studio Giggle for helping us pull this together, as always they have helped us take a concept and execute it flawlessly.” Will Jones, Marketing Manager

We are always interested in creating commercial grade content especially with a comedic twist, we are Studio Giggle after all.
